Banfield Pet Hospital health plans, often termed as the ” Banfield Pet Insurance ” are different from pet insurance in many ways. Pet insurance only provides coverage for when you pet is sick and needs treatment. The pet care plans provide you with routine checkups and testing that your pet actually needs and will use.
Pet insurance can only be used in certain covered circumstances, the pet care plans can be used at any time, no matter what.
Pet insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions, pet care plans includes free office visits to address new and pre-existing issues.
Pet insurance prices are based on breeds and age, and some breeds are not even covered. Pet care plans have the same fee for all pet breeds and there are no deductibles or waiting periods.
