Low Maintenance Dogs
You have been always longing to have a canine but have not been able to do so either because of lack of time or because of many apprehensions in your mind regarding the maintenance. If you are searching for a low maintenance dogs, here are a few varieties which are low on maintenance and easy to manage. These low maintenance dogs will be happy with little grooming and some exercise.
Pug: They are small haired dogs and tend to shed their hair throughout the year in turn compensated by needing less training and exercise. They are small in size and can be accommodated in a small flat or house as they require less space for their movements.
Bull Dog: Another breed that makes its list amongst low maintenance dogs due to the fact that they have fur instead of hair. They are good with children and are known to be very loyal. They are on the inactive side and do not need that much of exercise. All that they need is to clean their wrinkles once in a while.
Chihuahua: They are ranked as the tiniest canines and are short haired dogs. They are known to be extremely attached to one single person. They require very little space and also need very less of activity and exercise. It is very difficult have it as a family pet.
Yorkshire Terrier: This is a long haired dog yet with short stature and does not require frequent grooming. All it requires is combing its hair frequently to avoid entangling. It also requires trimming once in a while of its coat, however the intervals can be spaced out over time and can be later managed at home. Because of its short stature it occupies less space and does not need training and exercise thus making its name in the low maintenance dogs list.
Beagle: This breed have a short coat on them and are known to be very faithful and get along with kids very well. They are short haired dogs. They do not require an elaborate amount of combing and grooming, it is good to go in for once in a while brushing of their short coat. They don’t tend to shed too much of hair and are easy for maintenance.
Grey Hound: They are tall dogs which require to be outdoors than indoors. They are again short haired dogs and shed too less. This makes it easier for those with allergies to dog hair. They require very less grooming hence easy to maintain.
Japanese Hitz: This has a medium stature and is a long haired dog. Though there is frequent shedding, grooming needs are not too much and requires very less training and exercise. All it requires is a little maintenance of its long coat.
